Steel Wins, Doorway Loses
This is a surprisingly common error... where structural cross-bracing or braced frame conflicts with an architectural window, door, or other opening. In this case, a door opening is to be located where there is steel cross bracing... which is particularly difficult to "fix" since the door could not simply be moved over because the door leads into a narrow corridor.
