We did the math on this one and there is no way the duct work will fit in the available ceiling space of this Conference Room. The ceiling height was given as 9 feet 6 inches. With 11 feet 7 inches available between the first and second flooors, that leaves only 2 feet 1 inch for structural slab and supports, flooring, lights, sprinklers, ducts and so on. However, the ducts themselves require 2 feet 6 inches (1-1/2 inch insulation makes each crossing duct 15 inches high, and 15 x 2 equals 30 inches, or 2 feet 6 inches).
